g a l l e r y > community

One of the most inspiring parts of taking on knitting in 2005 was the community of knitters I found online. I’m still friends with knitting heroines I met 10 years ago, all over the world. Returning to making things by hand became very important to me, and giving back to the community figured early in my work—initially I worked no larger than 11x14 so I could easily mail artwork all over the globe.
